Quick Fixes for Email Issues

Are you experiencing emailing issues in AutoFluent®? Try out these quick fixes! 

 

1. Check the recipient’s email address for accuracy. 

 

2. Update your email password in the System Settings, Marketing tab. 

 

 Pro Tip: Type your password into a Notepad first to get correct case and spelling, then copy and paste into the SMTP Password field in AutoFluent®. 

 

3. Using Gmail? 

   You'll need to create an App Password to use with AutoFluent®. 

 

Go to your Google Account > Security 

Turn on 2-Step Verification if it’s not already enabled 

Once enabled, you’ll see an App Passwords option—generate a password and use that in AutoFluent® instead of your regular Gmail password 

  If you're using a company-managed Google Workspace account, your admin may need to adjust these settings in the Google Admin Console. 

 

4. Check your SMTP Settings! 

   These are specific to your email provider, so you’ll need to get the correct SMTP Host Name and Port Number from them.
