Seasonal Maintenance & Gas Saving Tips to Pass to Your Customers

With gas prices skyrocketing, present these gasoline saving services to your customers. Helping your customers prepare for the seasonal change not only saves your customer’s money in the long run, but also builds your customer loyalty. Keep in mind that repeat customers are always more accessible compared to pouring money into bringing in new customers (although new customers are always welcome, and happy customers tell their friends).

  • Inspect and replace the wiper blades that have been hard at work all winter.

  • Check tire pressure and alignment - and don’t forget that spare tire too!

  • Look over the fluids and top them off.

  • Ensure that belts and hoses are in tip-top shape.

  • Entice your customers to change their oil, maybe with a packaged discount!

  • Restore healthy air flow by installing new filters.

    • Pro Tip: Let your customers know that clogged and dirty air filters can decrease their gas mileage by 10% or more!

  • Do you offer car washes and detailing services? Maybe you’ll pair up a maintenance service with a free or discounted wash to get all that salt and mud off their vehicles.

  • Confirm that their battery is A-OK or if it needs a replacement.

  • Tell or remind them of other needed services.

Lastly, get the word out!

Get them in by sending them an email! Use the Email Mailings feature in AutoFluent® to send a blast email to inform your customers about important seasonal maintenance and any deals you have currently and/or coming up. If you offer any senior, military, or student discounts, make it known!

With the increase in gas prices, everyone is on the lookout for savings. Spring is right around the corner, so let’s make sure your customers are ready to safely travel the roads.
